I am sorry to say it, but any comment that is not applicable to the article will be deleted; this is a nice photoblog, not a malicious game :) Jamie: 11th Apr 2005 - 19:15 GMTIt's goes somewhat against the original concept of this site, but it is a sad fact that with increased traffic comes an increased number of idiots. Things will have to change here, just slightly, to compensate. There has been some really good legitimate stuff posted here from Russia and i really don't want to have to put a block on the entire .ru top level domain... neither do we want to venture down the avenue of intricate registration processes and email verification. There must be a happy medium. Editor:: 11th Apr 2005 - 19:18 GMTblocking referrals from three of the major offending referral urls would probably do the trick ;) Jamie: 11th Apr 2005 - 19:22 GMTI will totally email u tomorrow morning (gmt) send me details of the offending urls in the meantime and i will hard code some denial into the proceedings. Marc: 21st Apr 2005 - 21:20 GMTagree on the blocking ips- rotten gets a lot of noise/hack attempts and that's the best way to deal with the nastiest.. referral blocking++
