Peter: 30th Mar 2005 - 23:36 GMTyeah, i think i just miss the old neighborhood now that i live out here in brooklyn. i spent almost 10 years there- my first taste of nyc. bway is 4 lanes up there, with a fat median with the 1/9 subway's gratings in it. i used to ride it from my place in hells kitchen all the way up to 168th every day. theres a huge hill there, going downtown, where you have to navigate a maaaad busy redlight at 125th, go up this big hill til like 116th, all the while dodging the m4/104/60 busses and pretentious barnard bitches... on a fixed gear. heh. damn, i want spring to come faster so i can get back on my bike more! vz: 31st Mar 2005 - 02:34 GMTtoday was such a gorgeous spring-like day... I hope it stays this way at least until the weekend. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
