The First 60 Minutes of My Return

- zagg - Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 : goo

It has been two and a half years since the first time I journeyed to Philadelphia. I enjoyed watching the confusion on peoples face when they asked if I had been to Pennsylvania before or if I had family here: "Well, my family had lived in this area prior to them being ran out ... I mean kindly asked to remove themselves to avoid death. Aparently not a lot of people learned about what happened to the Empire Loyalists during the American Revolution. Ha!

Pizza fries ... are they a Philadelphia phenomenon or do they have them everywhere?

I took over 400 photos, in less than a week ... it is going to take some time to sort!

glad to see your new photos, zagg! the look delicious, but i can only imagine in the gut-bomb they resulted in... lol.

zagg: 23rd May 2008 - 01:37 GMT

no gut bomb; well not for days later: gut-anything is delayed majorly when travelling for some reason ; /

Peter: 23rd May 2008 - 02:22 GMT

it looks sort of like white-trash ...

but id eat it.

zagg: 23rd May 2008 - 02:35 GMT

Well, zagg wouldn't eat poutine (I'm canadian, its true, but I'm also a vegetarian) ... but zagg would (and did) eat pizza fries. twice... in one week... AND SURVIVED!

Peter: 23rd May 2008 - 02:38 GMT

i dont eat meat, or really much dairy, but... it takes a strong man to resist such greasy junkfood goodness.

Jamie: 23rd May 2008 - 08:59 GMT

mmm ... alas i am now officially dairy-free. Though meat is still fair game. What kind of a n00b doesn't eat meat, lol. Best friendly ;)

little ukraine: 23rd May 2008 - 12:49 GMT

zagg: 23rd May 2008 - 20:12 GMT
