Flatbush Gardener: 3rd May 2008 - 00:31 GMT

"They" have many blogs covering this area of Brooklyn. There are at least a half dozen I know of.

Peter: 3rd May 2008 - 01:40 GMT

thats great. wanna go the extra mile and, you know, actually tell us some of them?

Flatbush Gardener: 4th May 2008 - 13:15 GMT

Your spam filter doesn't allow links.

Flatbush Gardener is one of them. The links category "Flatbush & Neighbors" in the sidebar of my blog lists many others, including Brooklyn Junction, Deep in the Heart of Brooklyn, Fading Ad Blog, Flatbush Pigeon, Foster Arms, Peregrination, and Sustainable Flatbush.

Peter: 4th May 2008 - 20:32 GMT

yeah, it does allow links. youre just doing it wrong. heres a good link to start with: www.citynoise.org/about.php#faq11

speaking of links... so im assuming that its your own blog youre speaking of... fair enough. perhaps you can click the above link and find out how to post a link to your blog, or a link to the links on your blog, so to speak.

i mean, its cool that youre in the know, but the internet is particularly useful for spreading the word and interlinking... so hook us up to the source of whats good in ditmas park.

I Googled Flatbush Gardener's blog. If you haven't seen it, you're not missing anything. How Flatbush Gardener thinks that their blog "covers that area of Brooklyn" in any way beyond just regurgitating already widely publicized local events is beyond me, unless you like cursory snapshots of the Botanic Garden or potted plants and whatnot. Though I suppose their list of links is OK, I'm curious as to why they felt compelled to speak up about the particular blog in this post.

Flatbush Gardener: 7th May 2008 - 13:48 GMT

So, wiki-style links.

Speaking of "regurgitating already widely publicized local events", you're welcome to get your information from DPB.

"Flatbush Gardener" you seem intent on dissing the Ditmas Park Blog. Do you have some personal issue with it?

Shopping on Flatbush

A curious photo of some passersby browsing the empty bins that sit (usually full of produce, but conspicuously empty here for some reason) in front of a grocery store on the north side of Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
