Scenes from Winter 2007

- Montrealbunny - Monday, April 14th, 2008 : goo

I moved to downtown Montreal from Toronto last year (insert army jokes here), and this winter brought me some interesting sights. I didn't capture them all (like the cyclists laboring down the street in 5 inches of snow and near zero visibiltiy) but here are some shots from my first .

I'll admit they aren't particularily original or inspiring, but this is my first posting here, so I didn't want to go too crazy.

Oh so pretty - if only I knew I would be SICK of it by the end of it all.

I had never seen anything like these in Toronto. At least, not in the suburbs.

The disappearing - last seen in their naked glory December 2007, they were completely hidden by March 2008.

Two of the many I saw around the 'hood.

Only one of them was claimed at the end of it all. Poor little green ....

Wonderful! I especially love the time-lapse shots covering the accumulating snow.

Peter: totally... the time-lapse was nice. more!

Birth of Industry

this is the kind of place school kids here get taken for the day. a packed lunch eaten on the bus on the way there, hunger pains distracting you all afternoon. it is also the first factory anywhere ever. when this dark...
