i suppose it is. my bad for not properly labeling each and every element of the photo. though i must admit, i see many of those sorts of payphones around... the coke machine, not so much...

i've lived in seattle since '92, and - to my knowledge - that coke machine has been there since then.

question: did you try to buy a can?

any specifics on where its located? im not terribly familiar with seattle, as this was my first trip there, but yeah... the machine was long-since dead... not plugged in, totally non-operational. just a lump of steel waiting to get photographed and put on the internet, hahaha... i wouldnt be surprised if that coke machine hadnt vended a coke since the early 90s... even the old soda logos on the push-buttons looked almost antiquated...

That machine is secured pretty well for something abandoned - coupla padlocks and a bracket. It probably is in use & gets hydro from the same line as the phone.

Hydroelectricity - a short form from the 19th century. I probably shouldn't use it.

Also, there isn't much graff on the coke machine, less than you'd find on something truly abandoned. Someone is cleaning that machine.

Hey, I'm sitting here in the UK, so it's a bit out of my zone so will someone PLEASE try and buy a coke from that thing!!!!
