Rumor has it that the roof was slanted like that 'cause of some tax credit being offered for solar power when it was constructed - but that it hadn't panned out, but that's why there are the two opposing slanted surfaces. I couldn't say one way or the other, but that's just what I heard.

Nice pics! I remember a time when that was the Seattle branch offices for First Interstate Bank.
...and Daniel, now that you mention it, I do see a "face" in that first pic!
