EvilGentleman: 10th Feb 2008 - 04:51 GMTjeeff, would your comment mean that the Don Valley Parkway is usually somewhat noisy? I know autoroute 20 (the Quebec end of the 401) here is loud enough that it drives most people nuts. And at the Dorval McDonald's, the drive-thru can be quite challenging, as it is wedged between the main national lines of both CN and CP as well as autoroute 20. And the airport is behind the train tracks. Customer: I want a Big Mac trio with a Coke. McClerk: WHAAAAT?? Customer: I WANT A BIG MAC TRIO WITH A COKE! McClerk: I CAN'T HEAR YOU! CAN YOU WAIT UNTIL THE TRAIN HAS FINISHED PASSING? Customer: WHAAAAAAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! THE PLANE IS TOO LOUD! and then? and then? and then? and then? You get the picture...
