this just reminded me of one time when i went to philly on the chinatown express. some friends and i walked from the bus depot up to 2nd and poplar to go to the standard tap, but one of my friends was vegan, and the menu pretty much only contained delicious burgers and chicken sandwiches, so we ended up going to some cafe down the street. it was a nice walk up 2nd street though, what with all the interstates nearby..

Standard Tap is great - the same owners operate Johnny Brenda's up in Fishtown. There definitely is a development gap between Old City and Northern Liberties though, with I-95 running along the waterfront and 676 going into Center City. If you walk through Chinatown and up along Spring Garden St. you can avoid all of that mess...

In continuation of my drunken night photos of tourist sites, may I present, Radio City Music Hall. Anyone want to go and see the Pet Shop Boys?
