Greyhound Stops Along the 17
Browsing articles by Walkhere - [previous] :: [next]i just finished going from nova scotia to british columbia via the hound; here's some pictures of how little there is through northern ontario (taking the #17 highway from one side to the other). there'd be more pictures from other provinces, too, but you kind of go crazy trapped on a bus for days, and taking pictures goes down a bit on the list of priorities. anyway: ottawa, at the greyhound depot the eery glowsticks of sault ste. marie the diner you get dropped at in sudbury as if anyone needs to be reminded of the temperature i actually have no recollection at all as to where this is thunder bay the sketchy little smoke pit on the side of the greyhound depot in t. bay This article has been viewed 562 times in the last 8 months jeeff: 4th Feb 2008 - 19:41 GMTlondon's stop looks much like ottawa's (the exterior at least). been through there so many times......... EvilGentleman: 4th Feb 2008 - 20:15 GMTAh yes, I know this run well. Journeyed from Nunavut to Winnipeg by plane, then to Montreal and back by Greyhound. With my son, who was age six at the time. And that was all just to get from my home in Nunavut to the nearest location with unlimited mileage car rentals. I find it funny how most Ontarians have no clue how large their province is, since most of them live their lives along the SE corridor between Windsor-Sarnia and Ottawa-Cornwall, without ever feeling the need to venture out through the rest of the province and into western Canada. I have travelled all of Ontario highways 17, 401, 416, 417 and the QEW, as well as most of Highways 2 and 11. Ironically, I have not travelled as extensively in Quebec.
