Trees, Wires, and Mysterious Buildings

- elif - Friday, February 1st, 2008 : goo

I took a trip to Budapest this January to visit a close friend and fell in love with the city the second I stepped off the plane. The buildings are dark and mysterious, and there are beautiful silhouettes of the tree branches and wires tangling together against the mid-winter sky. I tried to get a few shots of these elements, emphasis on tried, as well as a couple other oddities around the city - ex. the adorable little ash trays outside the metro exits/entrances that people politely use!

Brooklyn

So I'm walking down the street humming a christmas carol, playing with my new digital camera, gazing into the night sky. Two drunk fools walk toward me, I make eye contact, smile, and hope they don't ask me for money....
