i once got an upright piano from the salvation army, paid $50 brought it home, stripped it down and reassembled it with a new paint job, it was tuned and worth then around $1500. my children played on it and my youngest son went on and became a classical pianist, thank you salvation army for being there when i was out of work and could not afford a piano for my kids.
