Traditional Swazi Dancers. It is customary for maidens to go topless. The men wear furs. The "prince" has a feather in his hair. On the day of this shoot I dropped my portrait lense and was forced to shoot indoors with a 70 - 300 mm zoom lense.

I am lucky enough to have lived here, here are a couple showing my father Phil Waugh, receiving a Swazi shield in honor, dancers were from Mataffin, 25 years at Dickon Hall Products. With pride, that same shield now hangs in my living room.image 26191
