It's Christmas Already?

Hehe, the local Costco here in Montreal's West Island area has had Christmas trees and decorations (for sale) out on display since the last week of August! It was 30 degrees (86 F) that week. What a surreal experience that was.

By the way, I still need to send you those links, Elicar. I promise to get around to it sooner or later, I just have been away from my computer (and Citynoise) so much these days. Sorry about that.

No offense taken joey. It was really modelled after New York's Times Square and, London's Piccadilly Circus. There were pro's and con's about the "development". I. for one prefer what it is now if I do not look up at the billboards rather than what it used to be, seedy establishments. There are still some seedy establishments nearby, sad to say.

all in all it looks very nice and modern, sorry that they push Christmas on us so quickly, i have people already with Christmas decorations on their homes and its not even thanksgiving day yet, too bad, thanksgiving day was such a nice day, an american holiday for us to give thanks but the business world wants people to start shopping, i hate it when they take all the decorations down the day after Christmas as if Christmas meant nothing, when it means so much to Christians, to Christians the weeks after Thanksgiving day are called advent weeks, waiting and preparing for the birth of Jesus, and the Christmas holidays start on Christmas Day and continue until the Baptism of Jesus. please my friends, do not take Christ out of Christmas.
