i saw that walking to school. looked really strange from outside too because there were no other clouds anywhere..

The fog came down from the north and in six minutes the golden city had turned to silver gray. An omen??? Biff

reminds me of that one scene in Children of Men, when he wakes up in the morning and we see through the window this grey city.
I remember walking back to union that day and being fascinated with it. it was there in the morning and hours later it was still around.
