Istanbul is a tough city to capture photographically (but definitely not spiritually) - here are a few meager attempts...
taken on istiklal near tunel, in tunel, again in tunel, and near cihangir, respectively

The most photogenic memory of my 1995 pre-camera trip to Instanbul was the huge winding wholesale markets where everything is for sale. Could you capture some photos of that still?
