Rue Prince Arthur, Plateau, Montreal This article has been viewed 1669 times in the last 24 months
CE: 4th Aug 2007 - 21:08 GMTIt's a pedestrian street. Cars can travel across it at intersections but they're mostly narrow one-way streets so not much traffic travels across the street. Cafe and restaurant terraces spill out onto the street and buskers perform amongst the tables or by the fountains. It's a great street and there are a couple other variations of the theme around Montreal such as De La Gauchetière in Chinatown and Duluth a few blocks north of Prince Arthur. Peter: 6th Aug 2007 - 12:58 GMTahh, i wish we had more pedestrian-only streets like this in nyc... cool. Comment on this article[previous] :: [next] |
