[previous] :: [next]While I believe the sentiment on this stencil is taking things a bit too far, I can't resist posting it, just to see what comments come bouncing back. I found this on the front of the Toronto-Dominion Bank at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Guy streets. Note how the stencil was sprayed incompletely, thus requiring touching up by hand. This article has been viewed 2089 times in the last 28 months CE: 3rd Aug 2007 - 23:42 GMTHaha, I took the same picture a few weeks ago. The stencil had a piece of gum on it though. EvilGentleman: 3rd Aug 2007 - 23:46 GMTI kinda figured you might have that in your archives, what with it being surrounded by Concordia buildings and all... hehe, you can still see the gum residue in my pic...
CE: 4th Aug 2007 - 03:15 GMTLucky for him, Ol' Stevie doesn't have to feel left out. This was in a much less prominent location however–in a Plateau back alley. EvilGentleman: 4th Aug 2007 - 03:27 GMTI would guess that the stenciller took the gum off, or maybe a passerby is anti-gum and anti-Bush? Stevie should have been pictured kissing Georgie's ass, like always. serlingrod: 4th Aug 2007 - 20:50 GMT
Found my own Harper, along with some other interesting ones. who might this last guy be? Al Gore? EvilGentleman: 4th Aug 2007 - 20:55 GMTserlingrod, the one in the first pic looks a lot like Quebec premier Jean Charest. CE: 4th Aug 2007 - 21:12 GMTWhere did you find the 10 000 spraycans stencil? I posted a picture of the same one here from my first visit to Montreal about a year and a half ago. serlingrod: 5th Aug 2007 - 00:35 GMTsomewhere in the vicinity of Rue Marie-Anne and Rue Chambord in the Plateau, just north of Parc la Fontaine EvilGentleman: 5th Aug 2007 - 04:53 GMTAhhh, now I remember why I always avoided the Plateau area. Too many hippies. Since hippies hold native spirituality in the highest regard, and with my being Mohawk, I am terrified of being loved to death. Scary shit, man. Same reason I avoid the tam-tams. CE: 6th Aug 2007 - 15:53 GMTHaha, you're right, we're just going back an forth with the same stencils. Montreal really feels like a small town sometimes!
