Not sure if I'd be willing to try the cuisine at this restaurant in Kyoto, which has a human-sized woodland creature with bowling-bowl sized testicles greeting you at the entrance.

on the north side of st. marks (8th street) between 2nd and 3rd avenue in the east village, right smack in the middle of the block. you can make your own cotton candy there, too.
im probably going to be across the street getting my haircut at some point on saturday. small world!
