I see you went to either La Ronde, the Casino de Montreal, the Grand Prix or perhaps the international fireworks competitions? I can't think of much else that is done on Ile Sainte-Helene (The original name of the last metro station before former mayor Jean Drapeau died)

La Ronde, and the fireworks competition. Spain was giving a really great display during our visit. My girlfriend and I thought La Ronde was awesome - what a perfect location for an amusement park! Here in Philly we gotta drive 45 minutes to ride a roller coaster - WTF? Right now we're developing our waterfront, and I keep bringing up "amusement park" at the public design charettes......

It's too bad you didn't get to some of the more architecturally interesting stops. , , , , and many other stops (especially outside of the older sections Downtown) are very beautiful and/or interesting.

Dusty Trail

my romantic vision at work again oakland hills scenery. where the frontier found a home and the stage coach rolled through. only two miles from the hillmont.
