what a coincidence, I just had a conversation not even an hour ago with a co-worker who is from OKC about this very memorial. he remembers walking down the hall of his high school and hearing what sounded like a loud clap of thunder. it is indeed a beautiful memorial. thank you for sharing.

i remember them interrupting our wednesday assembly (it was my senior year in high school) to announce the bombing... wow, i hadn't thought about that in a while...
now, having become a new yorker since then, remembering back feels even more profound...
