Finally made it out to visit San Francisco. It's absolutely amazing here, even so much more so after being in desert cities the past several days...

do yourself a favor and spend some time in the mission district. great authentic mexican food. it sounds like you're still there?

going to the mission. checkout Ay Carumba!. 16th and Valencia

Brad: 27th Jun 2007 - 14:56 GMT

Oops, never made it to Ay Carumba. I rode through that area a bit, if I remember right, there was some cool graffiti at 15th & Valencia. The Tenderloin district seems kind of crazy like I'd always heard. I accidently rode through it one night and it looked like something out of a movie, maybe it was just a crazy night. Then the next afternoon we stumbled upon the same street and had to dodge the bum peeing on the sidewalk, geez...

Overall though, pretty cool city, the hills would kind of get old on my bike, and from what I understand it's every bit as expensive as NYC, if not more, but the weather rocks!
