we used to call this "the old castle, when we played here as children in the fiftys and early sixtys. my father told several ghost stories about the place , one very scary and particulary real.

I was delighted to find this.......I also know it as THe Old Castle.........as with Devenish it has had quite a 'facelift' since my young day.

I do wish the Time Team would have a go at unearthing some of it's secrets.

What and when is the 'bridge' in the 2nd last photo? and how can I get a clearer readable print of the article?

I think this should be made part of the 'Tourist' info about Enniskillen, it is most certainly not easy to find, I only found it when I looked up the school.
