I love these pics. the housing stock reminds me alot of philly, my homecity. my girlfriend and I are planning a summer trip to montreal. these shots def. got me pumped!

serlingrod, you will be pleasantly surprised by the housing stock here. The only areas that I could compare to traditional Philly row housing (at least as far as I know it) is in the very old working class areas like and which are two areas which make up a lot of the pictures here. When you visit, you'll find that Montreal has a very distinct architectural style when it comes to building housing. If you don't know much about the ubiquitous Montreal you'll soon find out what they're all about.

The first picture is of rue Fortune looking towards rue de Paris in Pointe St. Charles a friend of mine lives in the house at the very left of the picture where the minivan is parked.
