I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this station has the deepest platform in the whole Montreal Metro system. Those escalators seem like they go on forever, and the ceiling is barely visible from the bottom whenever a few lightbulbs burn out. I used to use this station all the time to get to the old Richelieu Campus of Dawson College back in 1986-1987.

I was certain St-Henri was the deepest, too.
turns out the title goes to Charlevoix. St-Henri only clocks in at 20th!
I'm pretty sure this illusion is attributable to depth according to sea level,
as opposed to depth in relation to ground. for more fun metro related trivia:
