Sunset over Kreuzberg

Here's a sunset in Kreuzberg, Berlin...on the left there's a main road and the high-rise rail subway...I love this road, because it's surrounded by three busy roads and no one drives on it. All the roads are so busy so that there is no advantage in taking this road...it leads right by a church and has an old single brick road style....it's just nice....

This is right in front of the train station which you can see pretty much in the middle of the picture above....
I like the building being build on the left side of this one, with the glas dome...

guten tag, it has been many moons since i walked a cobblestoned street in germany. i was in a small city called worms. i studied at the university of heidelberg, the rest of my military time i cannot talk about. top secret stuff then and i will never talk about what i did as a soldier. lets put it this way, my family had to get in contact with the red cross to find out where i was. remember this, your country has many secrets to keep you safe. and most americans will never know about covert ops that kept them happy and safe in their homes. let me say this, in the late 60's i came across letters of an organization of neo nazis that were discarded deep in the black forest. they would attack us at night in our barracks. i try to forget, it doesn't work.

@jack: Oh definetly...Germany was basically the border between the East and West during the Cold War and there were just hundreds, probably thousands of spies and secret ops...

But lets think happy thoughts ^^

BTW...I noticed the pictures are too dark on some screens...if you can't see people commuting in the lower right hand corner of the second picture and you would like to, then adjust your screen lighter ^^
