Took a lot of research to identify this one...

1952 Nash Ambassador Super four-door sedan

The covered wheels and extended rear bumper are quite unique.

This is what had me confused for a while. As near as I can figure, this hood ornament is from a 1955 Nash.

The front turn signals are also a unique identifying characteristic.

i believe that is a special made ornament. if i remember correctly it would have been considered pornographic to have an ornament like that then so i'm guessing it's homemade. yep, now i'm sure, they never would have made an ornament like that for a car then, besides your mom or wife would have killed you.

Jimmy Shine: Cool Lookin' Nash Dude!

1952 Nash, interesting looking car., tough cars in their day.
I have a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan & a 1950 Studebaker Champion Starlite Coupe
I'd love to get my hand on a '50s Nash or Willys.
The independents of the '50s I think are more collectable the the mainsteam cars ie: GM,Ford,Chrysler.

Sid: I had a '52 Henry J. I love the hood ornament.

Beautiful car, I grew up around classic cars, the Nash was sure inovator in car styling back in the late '40s and early '50s, I'm in the process of getting myself a 1976 Ford Torino 2 door hardtop.
