I want to thank the NY Housing Partnership for lending me these photos for the Up From Flames Exhibition at the Brooklyn Historical Society. This is a sample image from that batch. Some, of them, I can geo-locate, some I can't. If you know where this one is, let me know...
But if you have seen Bushwick today, you know how far it has come! You won't find anything like this today.

That first photo makes me miss the neighborhood so much. I coached youth baseball teams in the adjacent baseball field since I was 15. I'm currently studying in MA and can't wait to get back. Unfortunately, like my parents who can't afford to live there anymore, I'll end up elsewhere.
