I have a new dentist. My cheap, holey teeth are in good hands.

as long as the dentist does not work on your teeth backwards

groovehouse: 16th Feb 2007 - 04:39 GMT

One of those, "look at that...and I have my camera" shots! great capture!

jack: 16th Feb 2007 - 14:57 GMT

catherine i love your shots. this is something you would see but not pay attention to. i have to say you have a bit of genius. if you were to look at the picture quickly, you would not know if you were going up or down, the radiator is the giveaway, although i have seen radiators in the city sideways on a wall. hmmm, so am i going up or down. either way, i'm getting dizzy with vertigo. i'm getting a little sick here staring at the verticle staircase, the height, the swaying back and forth, i'm,,,i'm,,, oh my gosh,, i'm vomiting on my keyboard, the stench, the gook, the sticky vomit keys, oooohhhhh, ok, i feel better now. wow, i just noticed, the reflection of the light on the dentists door window is reflected backwards on the floor. did you plan this catherine? did you wait here all day just to get this shot? this great shot?

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 16th Feb 2007 - 17:38 GMT

The dentist is on the 2nd floor. As I was coming down the stairs, thankful to still have a bunch of teeth in my head, I noticed the sunlight was making this shadow on the floor. It's kind of out of focus (I couldn't use my flash).

sorry about your vomity keyboard, Jack.

toronto: 16th Feb 2007 - 21:57 GMT

Awesome. I didn't even notice that it was on the floor at first.

But you knew this, didn't you?

toronto: 16th Feb 2007 - 21:58 GMT

... could be the wall it the top of the photo is cropped.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 18th Feb 2007 - 03:18 GMT

I have another "establishing shot" to explain this one that I'll post.

Bernice Francis Penfold: 20th Feb 2007 - 20:35 GMT

I would have to agree with the touch of genius Jack. Not trying to take too much credit, her Dad had something to do with it, actually he had a lot to do with her artistic eye. Happy Birthday Kate. You have good genes.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 20th Feb 2007 - 23:12 GMT

Thanks Mum. Can I have a pony for my birthday? I can also thank Dad for my crappy teeth.

I'm very thankful that it is only the signage, and not the dentist that is backwards.
