An Old Lush Stealing a Drink at the Brotherhood Winery
[previous] :: [next]
i love this place. the firast time i went there with my wife was a day after we became engaged. then after 40 years i took my wife away for a weekend and we went to the winery.
so my wife caught this old coot trying to get a free drink. the poor old lush had sniffed too much vino and needed a drink. its funny but i'm not a drinker but when i go to this place i enjoy the wine tasting and the crackers. the stinkin barrel was empty! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 14th Feb 2007 - 13:21 GMTThe barrel wasn't empty, it was probably frozen (mmmmmmmm, frozen wine) jack: 14th Feb 2007 - 17:20 GMTin ice cubes makes a dandy cooling agent for sangria. i do it all the time. take a fruity wine and place it in ice cube trays, freeze, then place in tumbler and add some orange, apple, and lemon slices, add some more fruit wine and voila. drink responsibly please. i have a little nip once in a while, when at a party or at holiday time. i really don't drink wine but my family does and so i prepare all the drinks for them and i never touch the stuff.
