Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 8th Jan 2007 - 14:43 GMTThe very warm weather in New York (El Nino/global warming/Bond villian heat ray) has befuddled the plants and they are trying to bring Spring early. They are in for a nasty shock when the frost comes. This is a raw picture, not balanced for color or retouched. I thought it looked like a really subtle bolt of silk. colavitos ghost: 8th Jan 2007 - 16:34 GMT"bolt of silk" is an amazing phrase. although i don't know about a bolt being subtle. jack: 8th Jan 2007 - 16:52 GMTdon't they call material rolled up a 'bolt of material', nice pic kate. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 8th Jan 2007 - 17:09 GMTYep. bolt of material. I love fabric stores. They're a feast for the fingers as well as the eyes. Robert: 10th Jan 2007 - 19:59 GMTBeautiful picture, but sad, as Biff pointed out. May God bless us all
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 11th Jan 2007 - 02:23 GMTI was there for a friends wedding. Instead of a winter wedding, she turned out to be a June bride.
