groovehouse: Wonderful image CPW! Great color!

Biff: Both beautiful and sad...Biff

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 8th Jan 2007 - 14:43 GMT

This is a raw picture, not balanced for color or retouched. I thought it looked like a really subtle bolt of silk.

colavitos ghost: 8th Jan 2007 - 16:34 GMT

"bolt of silk" is an amazing phrase. although i don't know about a bolt being subtle.

jack: 8th Jan 2007 - 16:52 GMT

don't they call material rolled up a 'bolt of material', nice pic kate.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 8th Jan 2007 - 17:09 GMT

Yep. bolt of material. I love fabric stores. They're a feast for the fingers as well as the eyes.

aer: beautiful shot

Robert: 10th Jan 2007 - 19:59 GMT

Beautiful picture, but sad, as Biff pointed out. May God bless us all

GGP: fab. how'd you get to stay in the garden so late?

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 11th Jan 2007 - 02:23 GMT

I was there for a friends wedding. Instead of a winter wedding, she turned out to be a June bride.

GGP: wow. what luck!

Glen: Just beautiful Catherine !!!

Church on a Green

A trip to the end of the 5 line, Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and a 10-minute walk across the border into Mt. Vernon brings you to historic St. Paul's Church. "Upon this verdant hillock lie inter'd" many important citizens from Eastchester's early years....
