Citynoise, or the Lack Thereof...

beyond the ... [city noise]

once we left the house, after we drove a bit, after we visted friends and ventured to the the mouth of the lake, where the st. clair river becomes paradise, i mean lake huron - it was one of those days, where you almost hate the fact that you have to work, maybe its because you are so aware that you were supposed to be working, and didn't and if you did, you would have missed the experience.

taking me to the 'hidden beach' - which at first i was like.. uh ok whatever... but once we got there - i never wanted to leave. there is this i dunno - cove thing where the boats enter to get into the marina i suppose, and there is a small beach created, and a peninsula made out of rocks and stone, absolute peace if you ask me.

how can i be expected to work when there is life to live? today was such a beautiful day, a breeze but the sun was so warm, the sky so blue and everything was beautiful and nothing hurt (except my body when i cough...)

this was a great entry, zagg. thanks a ton. i like seeing hte beach and the story... as autumn is settling over nyc once again, i have this urge to go to the beach... didn't really get a chance to all summer.

thanks for posting!

autumn is coming here as well - but i have a different attitude about it. i can't wait. i love how my drive way was covered in fallen maple leaves. the pictures i posted from my set from this weekend were taken on probably our last 'damn beautiful day to be alive' day of the year - and our summer hasn't been all that hot and sunny either.

i love autumn... its my favorite season... jsut not good for going to the beach, heh.

i know of your hidden beach. while cold because it's on the river it is pretty peaceful.

Oh jeez, what a baby I was when I wrote this. I would *LOVE* to re-write this entry with something that resembles proper sentences.

Off the Dock

Found this picture on a network drive. Lots of places have the local vacation hot spot. In Minnesota it's just called Up North or Going to the Cabin. My wifes family had a house outside Park Rapids Minnesota...
