Re: Portland: steel bridge

Really nice pic, I love the night sky line of portland alot. it's a shame it's hard to find good points to view it from the east side.

fuzzytank: 31st Mar 2005 - 07:58 GMT

ah ha the views from the eastside are easier to get to if you know somebody with office or housing up high in the loyd area ;)

I belong here
tread these refuse strewn streets
absorb light changes on blank concrete
I could heal here
bask in happy apathy
watch my reflection pass over cityscape
through a train window
stifle the smile that sees
the northbound line knows me
I-5 is my tide
and I'm willing to come home
where I accidentally landed, planted.

To ea:

I definitely recommend sending that to Tri-Met's 'Poetry in Motion'. By the way, I really liked it.

fuzzytank: 17th Nov 2005 - 09:26 GMT

ohhh that would be soooo much better than most of the coffe shop rhetoric they used to stick into those plastic curved top plates

but i coludnt help reading them

it was easier than watchin the guy cleanse his aura by grabbing empty space and pulling it towards his chest every morining

i miss fukin public transport
i dont get sneezed directly on here
but i also hav no story other than 'ooooooh the commute was such a bitch today'

saw this one on the 4 yesterday:

Separation

Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.
-- W.S. Merwin

(rolled eyes) too domestic and painless. preferred to pull out Underworld and listen to the high schoolers throw out mama jokes.

Peter: underworld... the delillo book?

ea: oh yes dahling

i just stumbled in here by accident on a search for the name of a bridge somewhere outside portland [i think] but these are very cool pictures, especially the top one...i've swung by portland, never been in the city much though.

Portland is one unique place,I found a home here and peace..
peace to be myself and to indulge in cultures of unknown
and unseen experiance. Feel the ocean in the air as I walk
through mt Tabor. or sit behind a waterfall downtown.I love this town.

densone: i love portland. its such a unique city.

diancza646: wow awsome!
