A Restaurant

this is an old restaurant, it was owned by a women who had a sign posted outside saying, 'we do not like men, but you can come inside,' yes, it was a lesbian hangout in the 40's called, 'swing rendezvous', then it became the, 'underground', in 1967 with it's psychedelic lighting, where i once had a scotch with friends. the restaurant is ground level and the club is in the celler. now it's the comedy celler where jon stewart and jerry seinfeld performed, but watch out, the bathrooms are in the club and you have to pass in front of the stage and are subject to some course humor. this pic is the restaurant upstairs.
