I found this "memorial" to Tom Burnett, for Flight 93 fame.

Now usually Minnesota is quick to make the "Minnesota connection" to just about anyone who stopped here for a cup of coffee but he did grow up here and went to high school in Bloomington, the suburb The Mall'O is in. I guess I'm trying to decide how they can put up a memorial to someone who did what he could to make the best of an awful situation in a place geared to get you to do absolutely nothing. Minnesotans love to shop but most of us locals (from the Minneapolis and St. Paul area) don't go to the Mall'O because it's too damn big and crowded with tourists so I didn't even know this was there. We invented the mall en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southdale_Center so we have lots of others to go to. They come from all over and from Europe and Asia to come to this place so I guess if you wanted to get that "do something" message to as many as possible . . . It seems sort of misplaced here.
