Grain Belt Beer Sign

Grain Belt, Brain Melt, Fan Belt, whatever you call it.

It's cheap, it tastes good, it's light enough for the beer challenged (Bud and Miller drinkers) and it's made in Minnesota.

As you head into Northeast (Nordeast to us locals) Minneapolis across the Hennepin Ave bridge coming out of downtown this is on your left. It used to light up but not anymore.

Grain Belt Premium beer even made it to North Dakota in 2005...yes!! I sampled a few at our town's 100th Birthday party. Upham, ND. The new Grain Belt beer that is. By the new owners. Still tasted as good as when i would steal a bottle from my Dad's car when I was a kid!! Yummmm! Ron Kongslie Portland, Oregon!

I live in western Montana, but my Dad was originally from Hills, Minnesota and most of my cousins live in South Dakota. I remember one night my cousin and me during a football game out of Sioux Falls when we where alot younger drank some beer out the school grounds of coarse' now he had 3 kinds of beer, wildcat, colt 45 and grainbelt. I loved that grainbelt it was without a doubt the one of the three.I wish I could get it here, but they don't sell it in this part of the country. But I do love that big old sign.
