i stopped for a red light and watched these men work on the street. hell's kitchen. i went to the new york high school of printing on 49th and 10th avenue.
the old tenements of hells kitchen. when i was here last there were people living here and sitting on their stoops. kids played stick ball on the street. fast pitching against the walls of the high school.
