They are a menace to both cyclist, pedestrian and other motorists. Two days ago a cab almost hit me as I was riding my bicycle home as it failed to stop at a stop sign, and today, a different one ran a red light while I was on foot crossing the street. hool: 5th Oct 2006 - 21:29 GMTwe hate cabs when we're not inside them. when we're outside of a cab, we curse their aggressive driving. when we're inside, we curse the driver for not going fast enough, for not making it through that yellow light. jeeff: 5th Oct 2006 - 22:30 GMTthe cab must have been doing something funny because it got dragged into the streetcar-only right of way there on spadina. but to be fair, i've seen both good and bad cab drivers, and good and bad ttc drivers. you can't paint everyone with the same brush. i also respect guys for driving cabs, since it's a tough and dangerous job, and one reserved mostly for immigrants. hool: 5th Oct 2006 - 22:57 GMTi like to imagine that the cab tried to pass the streetcar on the inside, jumping the curb on the island. there should have been cardboard boxes there, or a fruit stand.
