The Woodland Park Rosegarden.
The colors are a bit off due to a low exposure setting. I was trying to compensate for my camera's tendency to see the sky as white when I see it as a fairly deep blue. It really bugs me. If anyone can tell me why shooting towards the sky with a low-end digital camera produces an absurdly overexposed sky, and/or how to trick the camera into not doing this, that would be WAY cool. tags : rose garden flower park fountain This article has been viewed 1214 times in the last 50 months Tyfoid Kid: 4th Oct 2006 - 13:30 GMTI think the colors look great. Doesn't the overexposure come from the CCD in the camera trying to compensate between darker objects on the ground the bright sky? It's the algorithm it uses when it mashes all that RGB together to make that .jpeg file. That's why people shoot RAW when the can (I think.) aer suzuki: 4th Oct 2006 - 21:09 GMTyeah that must be it, because the other half of the problem is having the trees/ground come out too dark. my camera only shoots .jpg and doesn't do well with sky & landscape combinations sometimes. wish there was a way around that. need to upgrade someday...anyway thanks, appreciate the comment.
