While I've'been reading Ulysses and I think Rosy fingered Don...Seriously I used a Zoom on this which kept the colour but blurred everything. How do I avoid this?

experiment and rtfm (read the fucking manual - a phrase common to computer nerds). take multiple exposures of everything you shoot. if you're shooting through a window, you may need to manually set the range to infinity.
