Browsing articles by Eve - [previous] :: [next]This photo is of Irving Kaplan, who together with Paul Tobin ran the Manhattan www.dubrows.blogspot.com They seem to represent a different day and age, when people were encouraged to go out, sit around and drink coffee, and schmooze for hours and hours, without every buying much. It was an extension of people's living rooms. The Manhattan Dubrow's was also located in the middle of the garment district in New York City, and so during lunch it served the garment district workers frequently and well.
