This article has been viewed 2114 times in the last 57 months hool: 10th Sep 2006 - 15:34 GMTyou should size down your vertical pics - some of them are over 900 px high - it makes them hard to see without scrolling; they don't fit on a 1024x768 screen. as a rule of thumb i size the verticals no higher than 500px. chiamattt: 10th Sep 2006 - 16:18 GMTI size to the requested 600px width. It's not my fault if someone is still using a P1 with a trident 2mb video card. hool: 11th Sep 2006 - 15:33 GMTit's not about fault. it's about being able to see the entire photo on a screen without scrolling. i think you'd get more comments if your vertical images, which you shoot a lot, were more viewer friendly. even 600px high would be fine. but 920px high, that's only going to fit someone running 1600x1200, which is a very small fraction. i'll make an addition to the sizing request on the uploads page. Cameo: 11th Sep 2006 - 16:22 GMTyour sensor is dirty! And your pics fit just fine on my screen (2560x1600) EvilGentleman: 11th Sep 2006 - 16:48 GMTpedantic, pedantic, pedantic. I just right-click, save as..., and then open the document in either my photo editor or photo viewer, where it magically appears reduced to full-screen! And with all the details, I might add. I had one of my crane photos that was too tall, so I cut it into two halves and uploaded it as two pictures, but I forgot to hit return between the two photos, so it wound up looking like a single photo.
