It Seems Farther Than Ever Before

Months later and I'm still digging up photographs from Macedonia & Greece that I haven't posted yet in my journal or citynoise.

The church of St. John the Theologician
I guess it being built in the 13th century makes it a little bit old. If I wasn't such a dedicated heathen, I could nearly be converted to be religious due to the amazing beauty of the churches and other various religious buildings I saw on my trip, but none the less: the only crutch I need is my atheism. Oh well. In the background is Albania, that seems to be the weirdest part, not that I was in the old world, not that I was walking among history, just the fact that Albania was really, really close. Strange.

According to the dates on the stone, the grave isn't nearly as old as you would think it is by glancing at it. This is the only marked grave on the entire hill. Not sure what it says, my macedonian lanugage skills are far below the level of reading grave stones.

I suppose I have a small tendency to appear and then disappear. Oopsy-daisy.
