The Twins (or Twinkies as we like to call them) finally got us to pay for their new stadium. In a rip off Wrigley-ville in Chicago they're already calling it Twinsville (coming to you in 2010.) It will be nice to have baseball outside but it's next to the Hennipen County garbage burner (we don't bury trash, we burn it.) There's talk of using some of the burner output to heat the seats. They already use some of the energy output to heat and or cool parts of downtown.

It's right behind the Target Center. There goes another parking lot for the downtown working folks.
