EvilGentleman: Far out way out, without a doubt!

evilg; last time i was in montreal 1972, i remember there were some tunnels there. how about some pics?
i commute through the BART tunnel twice a day. on the train to and from work. they say it's the most dangerous commute in the bay area because the earthquake fault, known as the hayward fault, runs along the east bay hills bisecting that tunnel. another reason to hope the big one does not happen when i'm on the train, in that tunnel.

EvilGentleman: 26th Aug 2006 - 20:36 GMT

Yes, we definitely have tunnels, but I don't think we have any so pretty, or any that catch the sun as well as this. But I know the tunnel under the rail tracks in Kahnawake is a popular shooting location for Hollywood film productions, so maybe I should get a few shots of that one, although I do not have their ability to change the lighting around.

perhaps an 'inside' photo then. as you're driving through.

Sounds like a nice idea, but steering in Montreal traffic and taking a picture? Hmmm, maybe I can ask Chris to either drive or take and post the pictures.

A Walk & A Visit

after finishing a grueling writing project this afternoon, I decided to treat myself to a walk up the road to visit my friend. It was quite an afternoon--blustery, with what the cloud identification folks call "mixed skies." On the right...
