Also, I have changed my Citynoise name so I can have a degree on anonymity. Look at it for a second, and you'll figure it out.

Damn, that's some good graf, and I can honestly say I have never laid eyes on it before. Mind you, the roads in NDG are pretty rough as a rule, so I doubt I will cruise them all, even on a bike.

Good one, "Sir"

I was on foot trying desperately to find the Vendôme Metro station. I wound up here and was glad I did. It's very much off th beaten track, one side is garages and the overhang to the autoroute and the other side is train tracks so unless you want to get your car fixed or were riding the train, it's not surprising that few people see it.

Montreal is going to be fun for posting on. I do, however miss the challenge posed back home as I really had to search for interesting stuff to post. In Montreal, there is something interesting on every corner!

I especially love the warped cop car. Someone has a lot of potential.

As far as having difficulty finding material, imagine living in the same arctic village for 6 years. Awesome as the scenery is, without experimenting to learn new ways to shoot, I would have had to retire my camera after the first couple of years. Luckily, I was able to find ways to keep my results interesting enough for me to want to continue.

And your name... why not just use your first name, like Peter and jamie and jack, etc?

EvilGentleman: 23rd Aug 2006 - 00:08 GMT

And at least you are not accidentally stuck with a chat nick, like I am. I wish I could change it sometimes, but I have noticed some people seem to browse ALL my articles, so it is only fair to them that I remain consistent.

barry: Nice photos

I almost used a chat name but for some reason I didn't. I was confused as to what Citynoise was about and thought it was broken up more into city sites than it actually was so I thought it would be more important to use my real name.

I would just use my first name but it's already been used. Damn incredibly common first name! Also, I want to disassociate my new name with my old one as much as possible. The reason I chose the new one was so existing users would be able to put two and two together and know that I'm the same person. I wish I could go back and change all the other posts but I wouldn't want to burden the moderators with it. All posts from the Maritimes will be posted under my old name though.

Once you get over here, I think I will just tell you whenever I find a good graf spot. You take much better graf pictures than I do.

Sirhcbre: 23rd Aug 2006 - 20:15 GMT

Oh, I guess I never mentioned that, I'm in Montreal now. I just took these pictures yesterday. I guess I was sort of going to announce that with another post that I was planning on making the other day about my neighbourhood but has been put on hold.

Thanks for the compliment! With graf pictures, I find I have to play with the curves in Photoshop before I can do them justice. My camera is too shitty to really do it (or pretty much anything for that matter) justice.

Welcome to my jungle, Chris! Hope to bump into you soon. You can email me at arcticmohawk@gmail.com if you wanna try and establish a quicker form of communication or arrange a time to drop by and say hello to my wife and kids and myself. Hope your studies go better than mine did. Try not to spend too much time online, that was my downfall.

my boys did most of these painting, in the 3rd picture you can find a list of all the people that the artist know.
