Very nice. You post some really wonderful shots, but I can't help but wonder how come you don't post more shots of your subjects, so that we may get a more in-depth view of them. Some of the simple subjects, I understand the single pic, as I often do the same. Something this majestic deserves a lot more than one picture.

Sometimes I only get one or two good pics. I won't post anything I don't deem worthy. I was also on a walking tour during this shot and we didn't spend a lot of time in some of the angles I would've liked to shoot.

Fair enough. I will respect the areas where your methods differ from mine. Thanks for explaining for me.

jack: no way, thats my house!

As a child I visited here with Maxine and her husband Barney. My parents were friends for years with TP and the Kyle family. I was living in Houston when the University started up at the home. Wasn't it StThomas Academy at first?

I have the pleasure or working in the Link-Lee Mansion. What a house!

The University of St. Thomas has always been just that, the University of St. Thomas. St. Thomas High School (on Memorial Drive) was known as St. Thomas College for Boys but changed to "High School" as not to be confused with the new university.

The Lee family were all very unique in their own right as I was told. And a book could be written about each them.It would be intresting to know more about them. That time in Houston was pretty exciting (great wealth from oil)and people made rich over night.I knew Maxine Lee and like her.She told me many things about the family as a young girl growing up in that old home.It must have been quite a trip.

Faustine Lee Croxton: Great picture!
