The grand palace of Rajpipla in Gujarat, India - about 5 hours away from Mumbai is the home of one of the first gay person of royal blood - Prince Manavendra Gohil. His coming out as a gay person created quite a stir in the conservative Indian royalty.

This palace was also recently used as the main location to film a gay feature 'Yours Emotionally' by award winning director Sridhar Rangayan. The pink color of the palace proved to be a very apt setting for this passionate gay romance between a gay British Asian who comes to this small idyllic town and falls in love with a working class local youth.

The shooting took place not only within the palace but also at the local temple, the charming riverside and the quaint streets. Adding to the historical nature of this filming process was the participation for the first time of more than 100 gay and transgender men who very boldly lent their presence to this film. These queer people belonged to the group Lakshya which the royal gay prince Manavendra Singh heads.
