It usually takes me about 2 weeks to a month to shoot a gigabyte, but I have sometimes done it in 4 or 5 hours.

zagg: 12th Aug 2006 - 21:56 GMT

it's 800-ish photos to me, and i delete what i know i will not regret deleting.

EvilGentleman: 12th Aug 2006 - 22:16 GMT

I get about 600 pictures to the GB and I never, ever, delete under any circumstances. Many of my best shots are former discards that I saved, and they wound up getting a second chance later on, whenever I choose to go mining my old folders. I do not even delete pure black photos, ever since I almost deleted one, but decided to run it through some graphic program's auto-correct feature first, just to see what I found. What I found was a bunch of faint green, but very recognizable, shots of the aurora borealis, better known as the "northern lights".

zagg: 13th Aug 2006 - 04:47 GMT

well, otherwise 250 of the photos would be photographs of .... ME --- so I'll delete what I certainly dislike, keep what may have an existance later.

EvilGentleman: LOL, to each their own.

Cameo: 14th Sep 2006 - 12:08 GMT

I only get about 125 photos per gig, and that doesn't take long when ever I take out the camera. Hard drive space is cheap.

The Commuters, WTC Station entry was getting a bit lengthy, so I've decided to continue the (mostly) daily stream of higher-res commuter photos here...
