I like your photos! If you have anything about Turcot Yards or the Interchange I would be happy to post it on my blog, Walking Turcot Yards, contact me at charlie_dunver@yahoo.ca

Funny you should mention that. I was trying just last week to figure out how to do an urb-ex of the industrial buildings at the corner of Angrignon and Pullman, and I have been paying attention to the removal of most of the old railyard rails, but I could not figure out how to shoot them, since I am always zooming past doing 100 km/h on Autoroute 20, and Pullman is gated with security. Hmmmm, maybe if I pulled over on the side of the eastbound on-ramp from Angrignon, but the cops love to set speed traps on that wide shoulder, so I might be in their way, and I'm not sure that my camera has enough zoom for the job... Possibly I should check out the back parking lot of Loblaw's and the Rose Bowl on Saint-Jacques, see if I can get a shot from the hilltop above the yards... hmmm....

There's a good series on Turcot Yards on UEM:

I thank you Neath for bringing up Turcot Yards because you inadvertently brought me to the UEM website which will be of great use to me when I get to Montreal. I'm in the middle of Access All Areas: A Users Guide to the Art of Urban Exploration by Ninjalicious (an excellent read by the way) and am just itching to do some exploration in Montreal.

Wow, it is a good site. We may have to team up.

There is absolutely almost always zero problems with security at Turcot. But where you park your car is another story. The etrances to Pullman have been locked for about 4 months and cops do like to hang out near the Angrignon overpass. The Cotrells building at Angrignon is fairly accessable though not terribly interesting. It depends on how much you want to walk. There is a great parking spot at the Gadbois center with a nice little shortcut into the yards, but that is at the east end under the interchange. Good luck! and let me know what you come up with!

oh, yea, UEM is a great site indeed!
